The billionaire businessman turned possible conservative presidential contender is being challenged over his lack of voter participation for the past 21 years.

New York City records show that Donald Trump last voted in an electoral primary in 1989, when Rudy Giuliani beat businessman Ronald Lauder in the New York mayoral race. Over the last two decades Trump skipped primary ballots, yet is he runs for president he will certainly find himself in a primary election battle. Over these 21 years, Trump missed voting in both Republican and Democratic primaries – he changed parties to join the Democrats in 2001. He is now a Republican again. On a television broadcast with NY1 Trump argued that he voted in every general election and could prove it. Official records show however he neglected to vote in the 2002 general election.
