Mitt Romney draws standing ovations among his Caucasian electorate, but he was heavily booed when he attacked the “Obamacare” reform in front of the African American community.

A focal point in his election campaign, the criticism of rival and incumbent-President Obama’s healthcare reform did not please the crowd."For real?" someone yelled from the crowd when Romney said "I have no hidden agenda. If you want a president who will make things better in the African American community, you are looking at him."The former Massachusetts governor is not expecting to win many African-American votes, as 95 per cent of black voters supported Obama in 2008. But he is trying to show his willingness to reach out to diverse audiences. On this occasion he seems to have overestimated his appeal at this reception. The audience went crazy with booing when he said republicans would assist "families of any color more than the policies and leadership of President Obama."Romney had no means of response to the mass outrage but to smile and stand quietly for over 15 seconds as booing went on at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Houston, Texas. He completely lost the crowd when he pointed out that Obama has failed on his promises to create jobs and "better educate tomorrow's workers."But while he vowed to be a leader of all the American people, from the disapproving reaction he has received, it seems most attendees were left surprisingly energized to work against his campaign.
