Obama is selling out Eastern Europe? Just a price to pay

Some Eastern European politicians are accusing Obama of betraying America’s traditional partners, but he is well aware of the price of good relations with Russia.

That is what  Andrey Kortunov, president of the New Eurasia Foundation, told RT.

The devil always hides in the details, Kortunov points out, and Russia still does not know the exact composition of the Obama plan. Nevertheless, he said, Obama’s decision will be welcomed by Moscow.

Kortunov says he is more concerned about conservatism on the Russian side.

"Russians always suspect Americans of not being sincere, but this time some unorthodox proposals are really coming from the US side,” concluded Kortunov.
