“It’s unlikely US would approve of Israel attacking Iran”

The air space between Israel and Iran is controlled by the US, so any attack would have to be approved by the US, said RT contributor Wayne Madsen.

However, with the US willing to engage into direct negotiations with Iran, such an approval is unlikely, he said.

In an interview with Dow Jones Newswires, former Israeli deputy defense minister Ephraim Sneh said his country will be forced to attack Iran’s nuclear sites if the international community doesn’t enforce sanctions on Tehran by the end of this year.

The news comes just days after Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator said that his country will engage in nuclear talks with Western powers.

However, many believe that Tehran is just pretending to be diplomatic in order to stop potential sanctions.
