“Every sovereign state has to decide about its fate”

“I’m not sure that Europe would really be happy if Obama and Medvedev agree on dividing Europe into spheres of interest, says Sonya Zekri, editor with the German newspaper Suddetsche Zeitung.

“Germany in particular is not really opposing Georgia to become a part of NATO. In fact, the position of Germany is that every sovereign state has to decide about its fate,” said Zekri.
