A bus carrying a high school team from a basketball tournament overturned in Raleigh County, West Virginia. Over a dozen people were injured, with one student airlifted to a trauma center.

The bus was transporting the Martinsburg High School team, which had just played in the Big Atlantic Classic tournament, when it crashed on the Eisenhower Drive I-64 entrance in Beckley, WV, local media reported. The cause of the crash was not immediately known, but the Berkeley County school system said that it was a single vehicle accident.

Twelve students and two adults were hurt in the incident and taken to the hospital. One patient was flown to a trauma center in Charleston, WV via helicopter.

The school principal, Trent Sherman, tweeted that everyone “escaped serious injuries.”

The team received no life-threatening injuries and is “doing well,” one player wrote.

The Martinsburg Lady Bulldogs played against Greenbrier East in the tournament earlier in the evening.
