A number of tornado warnings have been issued for the Indianapolis, Indiana area, with hail and high winds hitting several locations and leaving thousands of residents without power.

There were several reports of a funnel cloud on the west side of the city.

Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and Lawrence have been affected, with the Indianapolis Power & Light Company reporting that around 15,000 customers are without power in Marion County alone.

The new storm comes as Indiana was beginning to recover from tornadoes that swept through the state on Wednesday, causing millions in property damage.
