New polling reveals most Americans surveyed view China as the top threat facing the US. The majority of both Democrats and Republicans polled say they are worried about the possibility of war between the twin world powers. China is outpacing the US in weapons and tech development, and there are concerns in Washington that the US lacks the capacity to keep pace with China's development.
