Forty countries are represented in the U.S. city of Annapolis for Middle East talks. Shamil Sultanov, a State Duma deputy and a member of the Committee on International Relations, discussed if any breakthrough is likely.

“We know about our very deep national interest concerning Middle East region. It is in the interest of Russia to make an agreement especially concerning Palestinian-Israeli conflict. We propose to hold a conference in Moscow in next year or year after,” Sultanov said.
