City councils in Augsburg, Goettingen, Kaiserslautern, Chemnitz, Neunkirchen and Rendsburg have been evacuated over bomb threats received by email overnight, police have said. Areas around buildings have been cordoned off by police and searched by bomb squads, while hundreds of employees were sent home on Tuesday.
