Two drones were launched by militants at Russia’s Khmeimim base in Syria in the last 24 hours, Russia’s Defense Ministry said. “The targets were destroyed by anti-aircraft fire at a safe distance from the base,” the military said. There were no injuries or material damage as a result of the incidents, with the Khmeimim airfield operating in a routine manner. It was the tenth drone attack against the Russian base in Syria since the start of the year, the Defense Ministry added.
