100+ people killed, more than 130 injured in clashes with Taliban in central Afghanistan

More than 90 Afghan forces and 13 civilians were killed in the city of Ghazni, 1TV reported on Sunday citing a hospital official. Some 133 people were injured, including 90 civilians and 43 troops, and casualties were also reported among Taliban fighters. Clashes between the Taliban and government forces have gripped Ghazni since Friday, when the fighters attacked the city. The attackers reportedly seized vast parts of the city and cut off communication systems.
