Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned against negotiating with an ‘unreliable’ United States. He made the comments during a meeting with Foreign Ministry officials on Saturday, calling it an “obvious mistake” for diplomats to begin renewed negotiations with Washington. “The word and even the signature of the Americans cannot be relied upon, so negotiations with America are of no avail,” Khamenei said, according to a statement posted on his official website.
