The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned the Greek Ambassador to Moscow Andreas Fryganas to issue a formal complaint to over “anti-Russian remarks” by some Greek officials, the ministry said in a statement. There is an ongoing row between the two countries over Athens’ decision to expel two Russian diplomats and barring two others from entering Greece. After Russia’s warning that the decision would have consequences, the Greek Foreign Ministry accused Russia of being disrespectful and constantly meddling in the country’s domestic affairs.
