Yemen’s Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for a drone attack on Saudi state oil company Aramco’s refinery in Riyadh. “Our drone air forces have targeted the refinery of ARAMCO company in Riyadh,” a tweet on Houthi-run al-Masira TV’s account stated. Aramco earlier confirmed that a fire had taken place in one of the tanks at the refinery, however it claimed the minor fire was the result of an “operational incident.” According to its statement, the blaze was brought under control by Aramco fire protection crews and Saudi civil defense. No one was injured in the incident and the refinery’s work was not affected, Aramco said.
