Nine people, including six children, died as a boat sank off the coast of the southern Turkish province of Antalya, the country’s coast guard said in a statement on Sunday. The boat is believed to have been carrying 14 or 15 people. Five were rescued and treated by medics. One other “illegal” refugee is believed to be missing. Search-and-rescue operations are ongoing.
