Normandy Four meeting on E. Ukraine issues to be held on June 11 – Berlin

Germany said Friday that the next meeting of the Normandy Four group’s foreign ministers will take place on June 11 to discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine. “The peace process urgently needs progress. Therefore, we have agreed upon a meeting of the foreign ministers in the Normandy format in Berlin on June 11,” German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas wrote on the ministry’s official Twitter page. The Normandy Four comprises Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin was also quoted as saying on Friday that the foreign ministers of the four states may meet in June over the crisis in eastern Ukraine.
