Sirens are sounding across Israeli territories bordering Gaza as the Israeli Air Force (IAF) is reportedly conducting new strikes on the enclave. Earlier Tel Aviv denied reports of reaching a truce with the enclave in a deal allegedly brokered by Egypt. More strikes were also allegedly witnessed in the Zeitun neighborhood, in the eastern part of Gaza City. According to Israeli Ynet news, the IDF confirmed operating in the Gaza without providing the list of targets. Throughout the day, the IDF has struck dozens of targets belonging to Islamic Jihad and Hamas across in the Gaza strip, before another barrage of mortar and rocket fire targeted Israeli communities on Tuesday evening.
