The remaining members of the Iran nuclear deal are set to meet in Vienna in an effort to save the landmark agreement after Donald Trump pulled out earlier this month, German newspaper Welt am Sonntag reported. Germany, France, Britain, Russia, and China will reportedly meet in the Austrian capital in the next week, with the meeting being led by senior European Union diplomat Helga Schmid. They will discuss a new agreement similar to the 2015 deal, according to the newspaper. Any new deal is expected to limit Tehran's ballistic missile program and its regional role, and may include financial aid to Iran. The countries are also expected to discuss EU measures to defend its interests against US sanctions. It is unknown whether Iran will be taking part in the meeting.
