Georgian president ‘ready to meet with Putin’ to discuss problems

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has said that he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At a meeting on Wednesday with students in Tbilisi aired by Rustavi-2 television, Margvelashvili said that he is “ready for rational dialogue with the Russian president with regard to Georgia’s state interests,” TASS reports. “I think that it is possible to discuss solutions to vital problems accumulated in the relations between the two countries through this dialogue,” the Georgian president was quoted as saying.
