While the Czech president and other government officials confirmed their country had manufactured and tested small amounts of the Novichok-family of nerve agents, the UK maintains Russia was behind the poisoning of the former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury in March. London continues to insist that only Russia had the technical means, field experience and motive to pull off such an “attack,” the spokesperson said.
