At least 18 civilians were killed and 13 were injured by airstrikes by the coalition led by Saudi Arabia in northwestern Yemen, TASS said, citing a Houthi-run Al-Masirah television report on Tuesday. It said a gas station was hit in the Abas district of the Hajjah governorate. Yemeni officials said earlier that an airstrike by the Saudi-led coalition had killed more than 20 people at a wedding party late on Sunday night. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Monday condemned that attack and urged all parties in Yemen’s war to observe international laws established to protect civilians in armed conflicts. He also called “for a prompt, effective and transparent investigation,” according to a UN spokesman.
