Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed his “full” support for US-British-French strikes on Syria, which he says conveyed a “message” of “zero tolerance for the use of non-conventional weapons,” according to Israeli media. During a phone call with his British counterpart Theresa May, he said that the same policy should be applied to “terrorist states and organizations” to prevent them from attaining nuclear capabilities. He then branded Iran as the main destabilizing factor in the Middle East, and warned Syrian President Bashar Assad that he jeopardizes his country’s domestic security and the stability of the entire region by hosting “Iranian bases.”
