Czech-American movie director Milos Forman has died aged 86. The Hollywood icon twice won the Academy Award for Best Director; first for ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ in 1975 and then for ‘Amadeus’ in 1984. He was also nominated for ‘The People vs. Larry Flynt’ in 1996. Forman died at his home in the United States following a brief illness. "His departure was calm and he was surrounded the whole time by his family and his closest friends,” Forman’s wife Martina told Czech news agency CTK.
