Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Friday said the Netherlands is not considering joining possible military action in Syria after an alleged chemical weapons attack. “We have understanding for a possible reaction, but at this time it is not on the table that the Netherlands would participate,” Reuters quoted Rutte as saying. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday that Moscow has “irrefutable” data that the incident in Syria’s Douma was staged by the intelligence services of a foreign state. Lavrov was speaking at a news conference in Moscow with his Dutch counterpart Stef Blok.
