Forty free guided tours have been arranged for the ‘Journey to Christmas’ festival in Moscow from December 22, 2017 to January 14, 2018. For the first time, the program includes five walking tours in English and one tour in Chinese. The informative strolls were organized together with the ‘Walking Around Moscow’ project, and guides will reveal central Moscow’s mysteries to foreign visitors. Excursions in English will take place on December 23, 24, 30 and on January 6 and 7. The Chinese guided tour will take place on December 30, and participation is available free on moscowwalking.ru. Tours in Russian are dedicated to Moscow’s theater life, and tourists will learn about the backstage life of theater directors Meyerhold and Stanislavsky, Fyodor Chaliapin’s debut, and Isadora Duncan’s tour in Moscow.
