‘Loveless’ by Russian director Andrey Zvyagintsev is among nine films on the shortlist of the Foreign Language Film category for the 90th Academy Awards, TASS reports. The shortlist also includes films from Chile, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Lebanon, Senegal, South Africa and Sweden. The five official nominees from the list will be announced on January 23. A total of 92 films had originally been considered for the award. The 90th Oscars ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018.
