The House and Senate leadership have struck a deal on the tax reform bill, US President Donald Trump told reporters Wednesday. "We're very close to getting it done," he said, meeting at the White House with Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and Representative Kevin Brady (R-Texas), who were leading the efforts to sort out the differences between the two chambers' versions of the bill. Trump said he was hoping for a vote on the measure next week, before Congress goes on Christmas recess.
