Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with Greek Skai TV and Kathimerini newspaper on Wednesday that the Treaty of Lausanne, which sets out the modern borders between Turkey and Greece, should be revised, according to the paper. He was speaking before his trip to Athens, which marks the first visit by a Turkish head of state to Greece in 65 years. In his upcoming talks with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, Erdogan is expected to touch upon territorial disputes in the Aegean. He is also expected to demand that Athens send back eight Turkish military officers who fled to Greece after the failed 2016 coup, and were granted asylum there.
