A freelance Sputnik correspondent has been missing for 24 hours after Houthis seized a TV station in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. The reporter was last in communication around 11:30 GMT on Sunday. The Houthis reportedly seized the studios of the Yemen Today broadcaster, owned by ex-Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh, trapping some 40 employees inside. The takeover occurred amid clashes between the former allies - the Houthis and supporters of Saleh. His General People’s Congress party said last week that the rebels had attempted to carry out a coup.
