The US’s consulates in St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg and Vladivostok will resume non-immigrant visa interviews on December 11, the US Embassy in Russia said on its website on Monday. The embassy in Moscow is continuing “limited interviews for immigrant, diversity and non-immigrant visas.” Washington announced the decision to suspend issuing non-immigrant visas across Russia after Moscow’s demand to cut the number of US diplomatic mission’s staff. On September 1, visa operations resumed, but only in Moscow. Spokesperson at the US Embassy in Moscow Maria Olson told TASS on November 3 that all US missions in Russia had resumed processing non-immigrant visa cases that do not require interviews.
