139 people arrested in Serbia for drug & weapons trafficking – Interior Ministry

A total of 139 people have been arrested for drug and weapons trafficking in Serbia over the past week, the Interior Ministry announced Sunday. Police seized 128.5 kilograms of drugs and a large quantity of weapons and explosives, Glas Podrinja newspaper reported. Of those arrested, 96 people were suspected of possessing narcotics for further sale, while 43 were arrested for possession and trafficking of weapons and ammunition. Seven laboratories for the production of various drugs, including hallucinogenic mushrooms, were also discovered.
