China on Tuesday launched a Long March 6 light-lift rocket carrying three Jilin-1 commercial Earth observation satellites, gbtimes reports. The launch took place at 04:50 GMT at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The three high-resolution video satellites – Lingqiao 04, 05 and 06 – were sent into a highly-inclined orbit at an altitude of 535km.
