Iraq forces captured the border town of Rawa, the last remaining town under Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) control, on Friday, Reuters reported, citing the Iraqi military. The forces “liberated Rawa entirely, and raised the Iraqi flag over its buildings,” said Lieutenant General Abdul Ameer Rasheed Yarallah of the Joint Operations Command.
