Spain’s Attorney-General Jose Manuel Maza has called for rebellion and sedition charges to be brought against Catalonia’s leaders over their push for independence. The state prosecutor also called for charges of misuse of funds to be laid, Reuters reported on Monday. The request goes to a judge for consideration. Maza has asked the judge to call on the secessionist leaders to testify.
