Catalonian city Girona declares Spanish king persona non-grata

King Felipe VI of Spain has been declared persona non-grata in the Catalan city of Girona. The decision by the city council also covers the representative of the central government in Catalonia, Enric Millo. In addition, the city voiced its rejection of Madrid invoking Article 155 of the Constitution, as well as demanding release of the independence activists Jordi Cuixart and Jordi Sanchez.
