More than sixty people have been killed and over eighty injured after a series of suicide bomber attacks swept through the Iraqi capital and nearby towns on Saturday.
In the first attack, a terrorist set off a truck bomb near a police station killing 20 people including policemen and detainees. Elsewhere in the Iraqi capital, a car bomb went off near another police station, killing 10 and wounding 18, mainly policemen.A bomb truck also exploded near a Shi’ite mosque in the town of Haswa killing 16 and injuring 43 people.And in the northwestern town of Tal Afar, a terrorist blew himself up in a market killing 10.
