The policeman's recent video address accusing his leadership of corruption may be part of somebody’s bigger plan, aimed at starting an interior affairs reform in Russia, social scientist Boris Kagarlitsky told RT.
The scandalous video posted on Saturday, November 7, by Southern Russian police Major Aleksey Dymovsky provoked questions and has led to formal investigations.
“Such things don't happen without somebody giving a kind of permit. Usually if you have the possibility to make a decision, to order some kind of reform, you just do it. But if you can't do it, if there is no way you can launch a proper political reform or a police reform, then what you do is you launch a campaign to prepare the ground for some kind of reform you start later."
