A U.S. agency tasked with improving security at 9 nuclear weapons sites in Russia is about to begin upgrades at the final facility. The upgrades are being put in place to prevent weapons of mass destruction falling into the hands of terrorists.
Under an agreement signed in 2005 by Presidents Vladimir Putin and George W. Bush, the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration is in charge of making sure the nuclear facilities within Russia are as secure as possible.
