A UN helicopter, belonging to a Russian company, has crashed in northern Liberia killing at least two of the three people on board. A UN spokesman confirmed two people died and one is missing.

The MI-8 helicopter was on a cargo flight with three crew members. The UN's mission in Liberia has grounded all of its Mi-8 helicopters as a precaution, while the cause of the accident is being investigated.
