A legendary watch series, inspired by Russia, is back on the market after nearly two hundred years. Breguet is selling the watch at its new Red Square store. Tsar Alexander I of Russia, Napoleon Bonaparte or Leo Tolstoy all owned a Breguet watch.

There were no massive PR campaigns prior to the opening ceremony of the new store. The cheapest item at the store is $ US 14,000 and watches from the Imperial Collection worth half a million euros. “The buying mentality has changed a lot over the last three years in Russia. It used to be shinier, more obvious, more exterior luxury. Now it’s more cultural, more intimate, and more understated brands are having success,” Manuel Emch, President of Montres Jaquet Droz says.
