The U.S. servicemen's losses in Iraq reach 3000

According to a website monitoring the number of American soldiers killed in the war, the number of U.S. military deaths in Iraq has now reached 3000 December being reported as the deadliest month for U.S. forces.

111 servicemen were reported killed in Iraq last month.The death of American soldier, Dustin Donica, who was shot in Baghdad on Thursday brought the total to 3000. The grim milestone adds to the pressure on the Bush administration to change its strategy in Iraq.But President Bush has made it clear he sees “no quick end in sight”.
