South Korea is hoping to send astronauts to the International Space Station next spring. The candidates for space travel are getting ready at Russia's Star City training complex.

When they finally lift off, it will be in one of Russia's Soyuz spacecrafts so they're being taught firsthand how to operate them. The two astronauts won a competition in their home country to qualify for the mission. The training and future launch are part of an effort to enhance space co-operation between Russia and South Korea.
