Seven injured in train collision in Russia

Seven people are being treated in hospital after a passenger and a freight train collided in Russia's Voronezh region. Emergencies Ministry representative says a child is among those hurt.

“The train collision happened between a passenger train number 279 bound for Simferopol and a freight train number 3003. The speed was about 20 KPH at the time of the crash. There are seven injured including a child. All of them were taken to hospital. There were no serious injuries. An investigating commission is working at the scene,” Evgenia Afanaseva, a leading expert from the Emergencies Ministry, said.
