The head of Russia's Federal Security Service, Nikolay Patrushev, says there are new developments in the investigation into the recent explosion on the Moscow to St Petersburg train line.
During a meeting with President Putin on Monday – Nikolay Patrushev – told him that new details have come to light. A trackside bomb exploded and derailed the Nevsky Express on August 13. Sixty people were injured in the incident. Authorities said they suspected the attack was carried out either by Chechen militants, nationalists, or it may even have been part of a criminal dispute. A 23-year old man of Chechen origin was arrested but denies any involvement.
