More than 530 died in the tsunami that crashed into beach resorts and fishing villages on the Indonesian island of Java, latest reports say. Meanwhile, a second tidal wave hit the shoreline.

Rescue teams are still recovering bodies and continuing their search for survivors of Monday's tsunami.  Hospitals are packed with the injured and truckloads of aid are reaching the area. Some of the homeless have set up temporary shelters on hillsides. Thousands of people who fled their homes are now returning. Waves of up to two metres high struck the southern coast, an area with no tsunami warning system.
