The search has resumed for three Russian rafters who are missing in the Xinjiang-Uighur autonomous region of China. Earlier, Chinese helicopters engaged in the search had to suspend flights due to a dust storm.
According to Russia's Emergencies Minister, Sergey Shoigu, there is indirect evidence indicating that three Russian rafters missing in China might be alive. Six people went missing two weeks ago during a dangerous rafting expedition in the north-west of China. Radio contact with them was lost at the beginning of the expedition. The search started when they failed to reach their destination on September 2. The bodies of three of them have already been found. Two of them are identified as those of Sergey and Ivan Chernik.
