The ceremony took place on the 65th-floor Rainbow Room at the top of the Rockfeller Centre in downtown Manhattan. The 150 invited guests were told not to bring cameras. Media reports have described it as “revenge marriage” for the French President's re-marrying so soon after their divorce.
