The majority are from the Sichuan Province in southwest China. In Russia the students will stay in stay in Vladivostok as well as in the Omsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, and Krasnoyarsk regions. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchau said the invitation embodied the profound friendship between the Russian and Chinese people. Another 570 Chinese students will travel to Russia next year.
