Portuguese police have questioned a Russian man in connection with the suspected abduction of a four-year-old British girl. It is not yet known whether he was interviewed as a suspect or a witness.

Madeleine McCann went missing from her holiday apartment on May 3, while her parents were having dinner at a nearby restaurant. Police quizzed the Russian citizen, a 22-year-old IT expert, and removed computer equipment from his home in the Algarve. He's previously admitted helping the main suspect, Robert Murat from Britain, to set up a Website. Police say they have yet to arrest anyone or bring charges in connection with the case.
